The METEOR process is based on opening a very narrow trench by dry sawing with vacuuming and simultaneous storage of the rubble. It enables:

• A trench depth up to 100 mm,
• A trench width up to 10 mm,
• A simultaneous mechanised installation of an optical fibre cable and a protecting seal,
• Bituminous flow in-fill, poured in hot,
• A rate of progress of up to 2,500 ml/day.
